XL 12” Mid-Range Loudspeaker With Neodymium Magnet
Hear your audio as intended with DS18’s 12XL1000N-8. This 8-ohm 12-inch mid-range utilizes advanced neodymium drivers for an impressive blend of power and sensitivity that sets new standards in high-powered audio.
Crafted for professional sound systems, the 12XL1000N-8 boasts an RMS power handling of 500W and peaks at a commanding 1000W, ensuring clear, distortion-free sound even at high outputs. Its superb sensitivity of 100dB (1w/1m) allows for remarkable loudness with minimal input power, making it a top choice for audiophiles seeking efficient energy use.
The speaker's robust construction features a non-pressed paper cone for lightness and rigidity, paired with a durable Kapton voice coil known for its high heat resistance. Its neodymium magnet, weighing just 11oz, maximizes magnetic efficiency without adding bulk. This is complemented by an innovative heat management system that includes demodulating rings to maintain consistent performance during intense sessions.
With a frequency response spanning from 80Hz to 5KHz, this mid-range loudspeaker delivers rich tones and detailed highs. The satin black aluminum basket not only provides durability but also enhances aesthetic appeal, making it suitable for any professional setup.
