FAQ

What is the MOJAB Extended Prime Recovery Kit designed for?
The Extended Prime Recovery Kit is designed for Jeeps, Broncos, trucks, overland rigs, and other off-road vehicles equipped with a winch. It is especially useful when additional winch-line reach, anchor extension, redirects, or more versatile winching setups are needed.

What comes included in the Extended Prime Recovery Kit?
The kit includes a pair of 3/8” x 35” LongReach Soft Shackles, one 3/8” x 78’ Winch Line Extension, one 3.8” Snatch Ring, dedicated storage bags, and a pair of Working / Driving Gloves.

What are the ratings of the 3/8” x 35” LongReach Soft Shackles?
Each MOJAB 3/8” x 35” LongReach Soft Shackle has a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 10,700 lb and a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 32,000 lb. Their extended 35” length also makes it easier to reach recessed, oversized, or difficult recovery points.

What is the rating of the 3/8” x 78’ Winch Line Extension?
The included 3/8” x 78’ UHMWPE Winch Line Extension has a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 16,500 lb. It provides an additional 78 feet of reach when the winch line alone cannot reach the desired recovery or anchor point.

What is the rating of the 3.8” Snatch Ring?
The included MOJAB 3.8” Snatch Ring has a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 22,500 lb and a Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS) of 45,000 lb. It can be used with compatible recovery gear for winch redirects and mechanical-advantage recovery setups.

When would I need a winch line extension?
A winch line extension is useful when the nearest suitable anchor point is beyond the reach of your winch rope. The 78’ extension gives you significantly more rigging flexibility for long-distance pulls and remote anchor points without permanently adding additional rope to the winch drum.

What is covered by the lifetime warranty?
The Extended Prime Recovery Kit includes MOJAB’s Lifetime Warranty on the Soft Shackles included in the kit, subject to the applicable warranty terms.
