How do I know if the Elite Recovery Kit is the right size for my vehicle?

The Elite Recovery Kit is built around our 1.5” x 30’ kinetic recovery rope and is intended for heavy-duty vehicles and larger recovery rigs.

As a general guideline, we recommend this kit for recovery vehicles in approximately the 10,000–20,000 lb range, including heavy-duty pickups, large overland builds, vans, motorhomes, and utility vehicles.

Kinetic recovery ropes should be properly matched to the vehicle doing the recovery. Using an oversized rope on a much lighter vehicle may prevent the rope from stretching properly and reduce its kinetic effect.

For Jeeps, Broncos, midsize trucks, and most lighter full-size trucks, we recommend choosing one of our smaller kinetic recovery rope sizes instead.
